I wasn't planning to go DnB again for the second album, but somehow it managed to find me. With no preceding track to go off I was left with the oblique strategy 'get your neck massaged'. This left me all at sea, I wasn't sure what I was meant to do with these 4 words, so decided to take them at face value. Surely I needed an ambient, relaxing... albeit slightly dark vibe. And so it began. But then I thought... what if it was a bad neck massage? Thus the tune was born.
All which was left was the name. I sent my final mix through to NoSleep, who was kindly producing this album, only for him to return it to me saying that my 'wall of sound' looked more like a 'brick wall of limitation'. And so it was. 'The Brick Wall of Limitation'.
