""Shipshape" was created out of desperation using the only tools I had on hand at the time, a £30 WH Smith's midi keyboard and a bootlegged copy of Reason 4. The keyboard had these tiny shitty plastic keys that were designed for a child's fingers and which bounced if you released them too quickly, turning any attempt at live recording into a stuttery nightmare. So between this and a lag the size of a truck, I'm not sure how I managed to produce anything at all, but somehow I did and it was this. I have since purchased an adult-sized keyboard."
When you say album, are you using the Arabic for 'the' when you say 'al'? What do i think of the bum? Daniel Kitson as the bum or the bum as an entity in itself? Although the bum as an entity in itself would be a bit weird, so I'll assume you mean Daniel Kitson as the bum, yeah I love 'im, bloody wordy geezer. blimey100
This might be my favorite thing Daniel has ever recorded. I shared the story part with my children, who also absolutely loved it. The songs are great too. alex79uk
