I fucked about with the track I was given (from lazyhour), and found that when I reversed and sped it up I got that nice kind of crackly Sympathy for the Devil-style rhythm. I played a couple of piano chords over, and gradually built the song over that. I think I did it all in an evening. At the time I had just posted a thread about comedians using the word 'hack' all the time, to which NoSleep had begun a reply: "My Understanding of Hack is...." so I took that as the title. The lyrics are about somebody being paranoid about immigration. I can't remember why, but I pretty much nailed down the migrant crisis a year ahead of schedule.

When you say album, are you using the Arabic for 'the' when you say 'al'? What do i think of the bum? Daniel Kitson as the bum or the bum as an entity in itself? Although the bum as an entity in itself would be a bit weird, so I'll assume you mean Daniel Kitson as the bum, yeah I love 'im, bloody wordy geezer. blimey100
