My effort came about largely because I'd recently got a digital piano. The fact that it was scoring a black and white silent film meant I could feel free to play with that genre, although it has to be said it's a slower and more melancholy thing than most of the music of that era was. My section crossed a few scenes, and while there is a lively party scene at the start, there are points of hardship and sadness in one of the other scenes that I focused on, as is my wont. And that's it.
