Originally entitled Three Litre Blues after the three litre plastic bottle that I filled with water and used as a bass percussion instrument. But I dedicated it to Daevid Allen ("Bert") on hearing of his death and played some glissando guitar on the track in tribute.
In keeping with the game rules I took a kick drum sample from the stems I was provided with from sphek (Johnny Textface). Everything else is edited from live improvisations, aside from the violins, which which I played note by note, playing the pulsating single note rhythm for several bars, then editing the parts together into an ensemble arrangement of up to 24 violins.

When you say album, are you using the Arabic for 'the' when you say 'al'? What do i think of the bum? Daniel Kitson as the bum or the bum as an entity in itself? Although the bum as an entity in itself would be a bit weird, so I'll assume you mean Daniel Kitson as the bum, yeah I love 'im, bloody wordy geezer. blimey100
