"The idea of the album was simple. Throw all the names of the contributing artists (all members of the Cook'd and Bomb'd forum) into a hat (actually a box that formerly contained a microphone), pick one name and they would commence the album. The next name picked would be the 2nd track on the album, and so on. As lazyhour's name was the first out it was agreed that they would also contribute a closer for the album, just so they also could have an opportunity to react to the preceding track, as everyone else had.
A year passed by, and still the album was in the making. The last track was received near the close of 2011 and a listening copy was sent to all contributors which prompted a couple of recalls to tweak tracks a little further. All tracks were completed in Jan 2012, and then I found myself called away on business elsewhere, to say nothing of commencing the follow-up to HA HA TAPE.
Thanks to all contributors. I was especially impressed by the tracks from those who had expressed worries about whether their offering would be "professional" enough; in each case they proved themselves more than merely capable.
Thanks to falafel for the album title (yes; we remember).
Special thanks to ziggy starbucks for providing the artwork for the album."
